If you get a citation

All City of Pensacola citations include the City of Pensacola logo. If you received a citation from a private company, please call the number on your ticket or visit the company’s website.

*The City of Pensacola provides free parking to anyone with a visible, valid Handicapped tag or placard, whether the spot is identified as an official “Handicapped Parking” spot or not. The handicapped tag/placard must be registered to the driver who is parking the vehicle. *If you park in a private parking lot, you will need to park in a designated handicapped space or risk receiving a citation, boot or tow.

Use the City’s official website to pay a City citation online. *Please note: the City does not accept third party payments such as Doxco, etc.

Ways to Pay

How to Request an Appeal Hearing

You can request a hearing on a parking citation any time within 30 days of the citation issue date—after 30 days, citations are no longer eligible for a hearing. Submit your request for a hearing online or by mail (postmarked within 30 days of citation issue date). To request a hearing by mail, follow the directions on your citation. Please note: An administrative fee of $25 is automatically assessed when an appeal is denied, regardless
of the reason. All Magistrate rulings are final.

Please note: The owner of any vehicle found to be in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter within the city shall be fined in the amount of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per offense; however, beginning with the third offense that occurs within a twelve (12) month period the fine shall be in the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00) and each subsequent offense thereafter within a twelve (12) month period shall increase by twenty-five dollars ($25) from the last fine for each additional offense Subsequent fine amounts for offenses that occur within the same twelve (12) month period shall not be greater than two hundred dollars ($200.00). The amount of the fine shall be doubled if payment is not received by the city or if payment by mail is not postmarked within thirty (30) days of the date of notice of the violation.

Late Fees

Parking citations must be paid within 30 calendar days from the issue date of the citation, or the citation fee will double. License plates with three or more unpaid citations or an unpaid unauthorized handicap parking violation will be issued a scofflaw hold on the renewal of the license plate through the Department of Safety and Motor Vehicles.

I got a parking ticket.

What now?

Does your ticket look like this one?

The City of Pensacola manages less than 29% of Pensacola’s paid parking spots. If your parking ticket looks different from this one, it is not a City of Pensacola ticket. Here’s how to get help.
